IMPHAL: A Rs 97-crore project for the rejuvenation and conservation of the Nambul river in Imphal was launched by Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh on Saturday.The project aims to control river pollution by treating urban waste present in the water by using the latest available technology. Officials said the state government has also submitted proposals for similar projects for seven other rivers - Imphal, Iril, Khuga, Khujairok, Lokchao, Manipur and Thoubal
